What Is Behavioral Health?
Behavioral Health aims to study and treat behaviors negatively impacting people’s lives. Areas encompassed by behavioral health include mental health, substance abuse, and social functioning. After assessing these areas, behavioral health provides better coping strategies for individuals, so they can live a better life.
Through Midland College’s Mental Health Technician Certificate program, students interested in behavioral health gain the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care to individuals in varying mental health settings.
